We Go Green

WE GO GREEN - World Earth Day 2021

This year we are working alongside the international charity called WE.ORG. An important part of this charity's work is supporting schools across the world to bring about positive social change. This part of the charity is called 'WE Schools'.

‘WE Schools’ encourages us to help others and make a positive difference in our local area. This year we are working with the WE Schools programme with some of their campaigns and projects which are aimed at encouraging us to make a difference in our local areas through social action projects.

Before Christmas, we supported WE SCARE HUNGER by collecting food donations for our local food bank and in the spring term we looked at WE FEEL GOOD and the importance of being positive.

This week we are going to be introduced to WE GO GREEN to mark World Earth Day today (22nd April) and prepare for World Environment Day on 5th June.

Your child will have an assembly introducing the WE GO GREEN campaign this week / early next week. We will be exploring ways in which we can take steps to protect our planet in school, at home, and in our community.

Why not take a look at the document below with your child, watch the video links and start to discuss ways we can 'Go Green' to protect our planet.

Together, we can all make a difference!
